I have not come across Vortex before and probably the easiest way to describe the game is a pretty slick, 21st Century 3D version of Pong.

In addition to destroying blocks there are some cool bonuses such as Multi Bat, Multi Ball, Powerball as well as a set of guns!

The game has an industrial theme about it and a suitable sound track and sound effects to match.

The game sits well on the iPod and with what must be hundreds of different levels it could get you hooked although it remains much the same throughout. Probably my least favourite out of the new releases. Still definitely worth a look.
