xo Play have three iPod games available to buy from their site. The titles are 'Bum' in which you play a homeless man working his way to riches. 'The Rise of the Lost' which is a popular fantasy game and 'Herberts Big Advernture'. Each of these games is text based and you play the main character in each and decisions determine how the game plays out.
In Bum you take on the roll of Rufus, a homeless down and out looking to hit the big time and become a millionaire. In Herbert's Big Adventure you become Herbert, a heart breaking funny guy who has all the right moves with all the right smooth talk. You will search high and low until you find that one true love to give your heart to. Finally in Rise of the Lost you are Sir Jacob Zavier, Knight of the Royal Order in the Kingdom of Valance. The Darkened Kingdom Of The Lost has risen once more led by The Grand Wizard. You must journey across the land and find a way to put an end to the bloodshed.
All in all three very different plots but all the games have the same price, a whopping $14.99. Now we all agree that the xo website looks nice and that the games, despite lacking imagination, can be quite amusing. But fifteen dollars for these games is just far too expensive in our opinion. But don't just take our word for it.
