This game is very simple and is just like Connect 4. It works just the same as Connect 4 and is very basic in design. It is however very nice to use and allows you to play against the computer or another person. The grid is just like the original and even has the slider for removing the chips. This slider moves across to allow the chips to be removed thus starting a new game. This is done when the slider is clicked on or you press the new button. It even animations like it is really being moved which helps make the game authentic and brings back the memories of playing the original as a child (and if like me always loosing to your brother).

In a nice 21st century twist there is the option to play against the computer or another player. This is done by choosing the appropriate symbol below the grid (2 people symbol = play against another person, person and purple chip = play against the pc as the purple chips and so forth). There is even the choice of which colour chip goes first, marvellous.

Another feature is the level option (also set by a symbol at the below the grid). This I assume sets the intelligence of the computer when you play it but seems to have little effect on the game play.

A nice feature which is rare among free games is there are no advertisements when you are playing the game. It simply just shows you one advert before you start the game.

In conclusion this is a good recreation of Connect 4 with the bonus of having a 21st century remake by being on an iPhone/iPod touch and being able to play against the computer not just another player (good for us with little friends).
